Our Human Resource administration service embraces the full spectrum of the human resource function. Mercer Single Source 1 TM HR Administration services include the following:

  • Comprehensive HR platform. We will review your current Employee Handbook or create a new Employee Handbook that encompasses any of the policies or procedures that you would like to maintain or implement. We will help to reduce employment-related risk by ensuring consistency of information while enhancing employee understanding of your employment practices.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Issues. Mercer Single Source 1 TM will provide information and regular updates on state and federal laws and regulations (ie, FLSA, FMLA, Title VII, ADA, etc) that apply to your company. We will also assist with government mandated documents that may be required of your company, such as the I-9, EEO-1 and Veterans 100 reports.
  • Compliance Training. Our service includes online compliance training courses in the areas of Sexual Harassment Awareness and Discrimination & Harassment Prevention Training. Our system allows us to track the completion and documentation of these courses for recordkeeping purposes.
  • New Hire Orientation. We contact new hires to explain new hire forms, benefits, essential handbook information, and provide an orientation of HR Benefits Advantage. We will facilitate and track the completion of new hire paperwork, handle the processing and filing and communicate relevant information to carriers and other appropriate parties.
  • Management of employee information. We manage the recordkeeping component to ensure proper documents are completed, retained based on state and federal requirements, and are in compliance. This includes official personnel files, I-9 documents, medical documentation, benefits enrollment forms and mandated governmental documents.
  • Professional resource for assistance. Your employees and managers can contact their Mercer Single Source 1 TM Administrator toll free as they have general questions in relation to benefits, policies, and payroll as appropriate. Our industry certified HR Administrators serve as an invaluable resource to assist with common employment related questions.
  • Access to web-based HR Information System. Employees will have access to HR Benefits Advantage, our internet based HR system. This will allow your company the opportunity to have employee related information in one place electronically. Mercer Single Source 1 TM will upload and maintain appropriate employee, company and benefit information as provided by company, reducing any burden on your behalf.
