In addition to the core services that Mercer Single Source 1 TM can directly provide to clients (HR administrative services, benefits administration, regulations/compliance support, employee records maintenance, etc.), we have also established relationships with experts in specific areas of HR.

  • Payroll. For clients who are shopping for a payroll solution, Mercer Single Source 1 TM has a relationship with CompuPay to provide a secure, internet-based payroll and tax filing solution that is convenient and easy to use. Mercer Single Source 1 TM will maintain the system on your behalf. CompuPay will handle the processing, compliance and tax filing. This combination minimizes the time clients spend on payroll and is a cost effective solution to manage payroll.

  • COBRA Administration. Groups who employ 20 or more individuals are faced with the obligation to comply with Federal COBRA regulations. Mercer Single Source 1 TM has relationships with COBRAHelp and Conexis to offer COBRA administration services. Your Mercer Single Source 1 TM Administrator will work directly with the COBRA administrator and once again supports our objective to be a "one-stop-shop" for clients.

  • Comprehensive Background Screening Services. Many small employers screen individuals during the pre-employment phase so that they can make confident hiring decisions. Mercer Single Source 1 TM works with Kroll to provide employers with comprehensive screening services including background checks, drug testing, physical exams, and electronic Form I-9 solutions.   • HR Classroom. Mercer Single Source 1 TM provides Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Prevention training as part of their core services. HR Classroom offers a wide variety of other on-line training classes that can be offered to employees. Review a class listing at https://www.hrclassroom.com

  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). TaxSaver is a flexible benefits program designed and administered by Mercer Administration, a service of Seabury & Smith, Inc. This program allows you to take advantage of current tax laws within Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code. Employees can use pre-tax dollars to pay for certain non-reimbursed expenses and premiums for certain insurance coverages, reducing their taxable income. At the same time, TaxSaver will also provide you, the employer, with savings.
